Sana’s English class at MIMA
My name is Sana and I am class 9th student at Jose Marti Sarvodya Vidhalaya, R.K Puram. My father is a Carpenter and my mother works as a maid. They earn a combined income of Rs. 5500 pm. Since both my parents have to work I did not get time to study because I have to do household chores and also take care of my siblings. I was good at Hindi but failing in English and Maths. Then, I enrolled in MIMA Education Centre, where I get free tuition classes. My grades start improving immediately. My parents are proud of me and my Parents’ also attend Workshops to learn how they can support their children. Their smiles say it all. I feel proud in the smiles of parents. Like me many of my classmates and friends attend MIMa classes and their parents are happy as mine.
My success even after barriers
Rachna is a very bright girl. Her father is a bus driver. He met an accident due to which her whole family faces various kinds of problems. Her mother started working as a maid, but even after this their condition is still in not a good condition. Due to this situation her and her brothers’ studies gets affected. After knowing this our team supported as much as we can. We provide books, copies and other various things which is helpful in their studies.
After fighting with the worse situation and some small help of MIMA, she is now able to score good marks in her class. She is one of the brightest student of M.I.M.A.
My schooling after break
In early January of 2015, I was invited to be a part of MIMA at that time I was unemployed youth who does not know which road to follow it was very special to be there and have the opportunities to meet some other youth and supporters MIMA gave me peace of mind that I have not had for long time. I felt like I was literally floating on clouds. I am very grateful that I am a part of something so amazing. MIMA helped me to improve my overall personality it has given me hope and faith that has helped me to become a good person. They are very dedicated to help the youth & really follow through with everything they says they are going to do for you
Our Reviews
Loved the initiative. A country like India where the budding kidos don't get enough opportunities to enjoy their rights and to fly high successfully, NGOs such as yours are a great blessing for them. Keep up the good effort.
